Do I need a Salesforce org to use Kognyt MCP?
No. Kognyt MCP provides general Salesforce Platform Intelligence such as governor limits, documentation search, release information, rules, patterns, and decision guides. It does not connect to a Salesforce org.
What is the difference between Kognyt MCP and the VS Code extension?
Kognyt MCP is the platform-knowledge path for any MCP-compatible workflow. Kognyt for VS Code is the connected-org path that processes Salesforce org metadata to build Org Context in the editor.
Can I use Kognyt MCP and connected-org products together?
Yes, but they solve different problems. Use MCP when you want platform knowledge in a generic MCP workflow. Use Kognyt for VS Code or Kognyt IDE when you need org-specific context.
How do I get Pro access?
