Kognyt provides Salesforce context services for existing AI tools. Kognyt MCP delivers Salesforce Platform Intelligence without requiring a connected Salesforce org. Kognyt for VS Code and Kognyt IDE process Salesforce org metadata to build Org Context for connected-org workflows.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information such as email address and profile details you provide
• Billing and transaction information processed through payment providers
• Salesforce org metadata needed to deliver Org Context, such as schema, automation, permissions, and related org configuration
• Usage, diagnostics, and device information needed to operate and secure the service

3. Why We Process Salesforce Org Metadata

Kognyt for VS Code and Kognyt IDE process Salesforce org metadata so your chosen LLM can get a current, org-specific understanding of your environment. That processing is what turns a general-purpose model into a Salesforce specialist for your org instead of forcing it to rely on generic guesses.

• Provide Platform Intelligence and Org Context features
• Authenticate users and manage accounts
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Provide support, security, abuse prevention, and operational monitoring
• Improve reliability and product quality using service usage and diagnostic data

Customer ownership of Salesforce org metadata remains with the customer. Kognyt processes that metadata only to deliver the service. We do not use customer org metadata to train shared models or to improve outcomes for other customers.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell customer information. We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate Kognyt, including authentication, hosting, analytics, and payment providers such as Supabase, Vercel, and Razorpay. When you connect a Salesforce org, the connection is made with Salesforce systems that you authorize. We may also disclose information when required by law.

6. Retention And Deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When accounts or connected-org workspaces are deleted, associated service data is removed according to our retention processes, subject to any legally required retention.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information we hold about you. You may also object to certain processing or opt out of marketing communications.
